Conversion of an 18th century barn to a residential accommodation. Note that natural materials not only look good but in this case improve the efficiency of the underfloor heating. Underfloor heating enables the interior of this building to be kept free of obtrusive radiators, expressing the quality of the building. An uncluttered design such as this ensures that the building comes first.
